I was given some more advice last night that really made a lot of sense. It's given me more of an idea as to where I want to go with the services I want to offer. I'm looking for small businesses (or big businesses) that don't have the resources or the ability or time to put together product pages for their products. I'm thinking PDF files of product pages with pictures that I take, and specifications or whatever copy the company provides. These could be used online as product catalog pages, or printed for instruction sheets, catalogs, sales brochures, etc.
I can provide both the photography for the products, and the design of the product pages. That way the business gets top quality images to show off their products, and they get top quality product pages that can be use for just about anything.
I don't have all the details put together yet, but this is where I'm heading at the moment. I'm also gathering up images for sale as stock photography. These will be available through the company website and not through a stock company. I have a variety of images available, and am always working to get more to provide for my clients the images they need.
